ChiPride will be organizing the finishing table to greet runners as they finish the race. We will prepare sports drinks\, hand out snacks and assist with medals/certificates for the runners.  \nProud to Run is a charity event featuring 5K/10K run/walks along Chicago’s lakefront\, held since 1982 to celebrate Pride Week\, promote fitness\, and support LGBTQ+ community organizations. \nProud to Run Chicago Mission: Proud to Run Chicago is a 501(c)(3) charity. Our mission is to support organizations empowering the LGBTQ+ community in Chicago. Gifts to Proud to Run are fully deductible for United States federal income tax purposes\, subject to the limitations placed on charitable gifts by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. The Proud to Run 5K\, 10K\, and Half Marathon is organized by an all-volunteer\, community-based board of directors. \n  \nChipride Volunteering Mission: Chipride Volunteering connects Chicago’s diverse LGBTQ+ community and allies through unified volunteerism.\nWe strive to create a more inclusive city by centralizing opportunities that support a variety of nonprofits\, fostering connection and driving positive change at a local level.
