DESCRIPTION:Lincoln Park Zoo – Halloween Scare Event! \n  \nWhen: Friday\, October 24th\, 2024\nTime: 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm\nLocation:  Lincoln Park Zoo (East Gate Pavillion) \nTotal Spots Available: 10  \nDescription: Join LGBTQ+ and Ally Volunteers as we partner with the Lincoln Park Zoo. Get ready to scare and roar!! ChiPride volunteers will act as scare actors for the Lincoln Park Zoo’s Halloween Haunted Trail. This is an adults night out event\, where we will dress up as scare performers and scare guests as they travel through the haunted trail. Please dress in your best scare costume\, or wear tattered clothes and the Zoo will provide make up and have some halloween masks to borrow from.  \nThis year’s theme is “GARDEN OF SOULS.” Mwahahaha. \n  \nRegistration opens 30 days before every ChiPride Volunteering Event at 9 am. \n  \nLincoln Park Zoo Mission: Connecting people with nature by providing a free\, family-oriented wildlife experience in the heart of Chicago and by advancing the highest quality of animal care\, education\, science\, and conservation. \nChipride Volunteering Mission: Chipride Volunteering connects Chicago’s diverse LGBTQ+ community and allies through unified volunteerism. \nWe strive to create a more inclusive city by centralizing opportunities that support a variety of nonprofits\, fostering connection and driving positive change at a local level.
