DESCRIPTION:When: Sunday\, July 28th\, 2024 \nTime: 10:30 am – 1:30 pm \nLocation: 1005 W. Leland ave (ring doorbell when you arrive) \nTotal Spots Available: 7 \nDescription: Volunteers will be cooking and preparing a lunch for 30-35 people. We will be given a kitchen full of groceries and our team will need to create a meal to serve the clients of Sarah’s Circle.  \n  \nSarah’s Circle Mission: Sarah’s Circle provides a full continuum of services for women\, including housing\, life necessities\, and supportive services\, to help them permanently end their homelessness. \nVolunteer Responsibilities include: \n\n Assist Sarah’s Circle staff during meal preparation \n Occasionally assemble and store sack lunches \n Assist with setting up before and cleaning up after the meal \n Engage with clients in a group setting \n Oversee sign-in sheets to track meal distribution \nFoster a positive and professional environment during meal service \n Help maintain an engaging and inclusive atmosphere
