Cornerstone Community Outreach Mission: Addressing Homelessness, Providing Shelter, Accepting People, Finding Home
Cornerstone Community Outreach (CCO) is a Chicago homeless shelter and non-profit 501-c3 organization. We have a longstanding commitment to providing shelter and finding homes for Chicago families and individuals who are experiencing homelessness.
Located in Uptown, Chicago, our programs provide shelter for single women, single men, intact families, and single parent/guardian families. On-site services also include casework, three meals a day, a food pantry, and a “free” store with donated clothes, baby, and household items.
Chipride Volunteering Mission: Chipride Volunteering connects Chicago’s diverse LGBTQ+ community and allies through unified volunteerism. We strive to create a more inclusive city by centralizing opportunities that support a variety of nonprofits, fostering connection and driving positive change at a local level.
